How much?: £35pp (£30 concessions) – click here to book via the studio website!
This workshop is a chance to practice a selection of poses that aid in relaxing and calming the mind and body. We will also explore the use of several breathing techniques to aid in our relaxation. There will be an extended guided relaxation session, so please bring blankets and extra layers to keep yourself cosy & warm during the moments of stillness. The studio is fully equipped, but bring your own kit if you can. Parking is available nearby – Trenchard Street car park is just behind the studio.
Coffee/tea and a cake, courtesy of our upstairs neighbours at Flour House is included in the cost of the workshop.
I’ve teamed up with my lovely friend Josie to offer a yoga holiday in Italy in September later this year. The details are on the flyer above, and there are only 1 or 2 spaces left (depending on room sharing) already, but if you are interested/want more details then let me know!
Also a quick note that the Yoga for Stamina workshop that I had to postpone due to illness, has been rescheduled for 2/4/22, and there are only a handful of spots left for that too.
Come for an afternoon of yoga with me at the wonderful Bristol Yoga Centre, we’ll be working on our physical strength and stamina.
Using strong poses and flowing through some vinyasa, the aim is to improve our muscle function, joint stability, and overall strength.
The content of the practice is aimed at all levels (though attending a few regular classes before is advised) & the poses will be adjusted for each student to promote individual challenge and strength-building.
It’s a three hour session, but there will be plenty of breaks throughout, a full relaxation, and time for questions, tea and cake at the end!
As promised; some stick figures for last week’s practice, to keep you moving whilst we are on a festive break. Remember to work at the level that suits you, and add in some repetition for increased challenge. Any questions ask away!
I hope you all enjoyed a lovely bank holiday weekend!
There are changes happening as we move into September. I’m on a reduced schedule this week to accommodate some building work happening at home. From next week I’ll be back in the studio with 2 new classes.
Here’s April 2021’s Flow in stick figure form. If you want a refresher/prefer me talking at you then there’s a video cut of one round (right leg leading, then left leg leading = one full round!) down below.
Usually we manage three full rounds in about 45 mins. The written options in blue are a bit of extra strength work, the stuff in red are trickier poses/modifications to deepen the practice. If you want to give Flow a go at a live class, details for how to join are on the home page.
Here’s March 2021’s Flow in stick figure form. If didn’t to get to class for this one, I’ve put one round of me teaching it on YouTube (see below).
Usually we manage three full rounds in about 45 mins. The bits in red and on brackets are trickier options, if you’re feeling brave! If you want to give Flow a go, details for how to join the live class are on the home page.
Here’s February 2021’s Flow in stick figure form. If you’ve not managed to get to class for this one, I’ve cut a round from one of this week’s classes and popped it on YouTube.
If you want to give Flow a go, details for how to join the live class are on my website too. Usually we manage three full rounds in about 45 mins. The bits in red and on brackets are trickier options, if you’re feeling brave!
