Time to practice those inversions! Very often we don’t get to practice our full inversions in a short one hour class. This three hour workshop will include all the build-up and preparation to going upside-down and dedicated time to work towards different inverted postures. Working through strengthening, stretching, finding our grounding and our balance, we’ll build up through semi-inversions into all the poses you’ve been dying to try but never quite get to!
Suitable for all levels, though some prior yoga experience would be beneficial.
It’s been a fantastic winter term working on all things legs & hips. Building on our work with stira and sukha in our asana, we are going to find our way into some strong poses for this final week. Hanumanasana anyone?

What better way to get back into your practice after the summer break than with some strong poses & flow to improve strength, stamina and muscle function.
Come for an afternoon of yoga with me at the wonderful Bristol Yoga Centre, we’ll be working on our physical strength and stamina.
The content of the practice is aimed at all levels (though attending a few regular classes before is advised) & the poses will be adjusted for each student to promote individual challenge and strength-building.
2.5 hours practice (don’t worry, there’s relaxation in there) and time for an informal chat, questions & refuelling (cake) afterwards!

This workshop is a chance to practice a selection of poses that aid in relaxing and calming the mind and body. We will also explore the use of several breathing techniques to aid in our relaxation. There will be an extended guided relaxation session, so please bring blankets and extra layers to keep yourself cosy & warm during the moments of stillness. The usual teas, coffees and cakes will be available afterwards (baked donations encouraged, as always!); as will I if there are any questions you want to ask or feedback you want to give after the session.

Its still a bit chilly but the sun is definitely looking more determined to stick around than it was last week – long may it continue!
This Wednesday (2/5/18) my class at the Old Rectory Clinic is cancelled due to a personal commitment. For the rest of the month all classes are running as normal – no bank holiday interruptions this time!

With the long Easter Weekend coming up some of my classes are taking a break – Friday at Bristol Yoga Space is not running and I’m only teaching one hour at Nuffield Bristol North 0950-1050 (the 1100-1200 class is not running).
