Yoga for Stamina 8/9/18

What better way to get back into your practice after the summer break than with some strong poses & flow to improve strength, stamina and muscle function.

Come for an afternoon of yoga with me at the wonderful Bristol Yoga Centre, we’ll be working on our physical strength and stamina.

The content of the practice is aimed at all levels (though attending a few regular classes before is advised) & the poses will be adjusted for each student to promote individual challenge and strength-building.

2.5 hours practice (don’t worry, there’s relaxation in there) and time for an informal chat, questions & refuelling (cake) afterwards!

Places are limited so book your place now – £30pp (£25 concessions) – includes refreshments afterwards. Bring a small towel as well as normal yoga clothes.

How much?:
£30pp (includes free refreshments afterwards)

This workshop is a chance to practice a selection of poses that aid in relaxing and calming the mind and body. We will also explore the use of several breathing techniques to aid in our relaxation. There will be an extended guided relaxation session, so please bring blankets and extra layers to keep yourself cosy & warm during the moments of stillness. The usual teas, coffees and cakes will be available afterwards (baked donations encouraged, as always!); as will I if there are any questions you want to ask or feedback you want to give after the session.

Bank Holiday time again!

Happy Spring Everybody!

Its still a bit chilly but the sun is definitely looking more determined to stick around than it was last week – long may it continue!

This Wednesday (2/5/18) my class at the Old Rectory Clinic is cancelled due to a personal commitment. For the rest of the month all classes are running as normal – no bank holiday interruptions this time!

I’ll be covering an extra class at KudaCan near the top of Gloucester Road next Thursday (10/5/18), which is available as a drop-in & on MoveGB. Come along!

I’m teaching a few extra classes next week – which coincides nicely with my birthday on Wednesday 25th.

To celebrate my birthday week I’m going to be donating my portion of the fees I take during the week to the Terrence Higgins Trust.

I’ll be at Bristol Yoga Space 10.00-11.00 on Monday 23rd, again at BYS 09.45-10.45 Tuesday 24th, and Wednesday 25th in the evening 18.30-19.45 & 20.00-21.15.
