We’re back! Its time to head into the studio and kick off practice at the start of the year. Classes are on as usual from 4/1/18 (see the Classes page for details), can’t wait to see you on the mat!
All classes are currently on a break until the 4th of January 2018 – and the second weekend of the year I’m running another Yoga for Stamina workshop!
Have a wonderful break, and see you all in the new year.
What better way to get back into your practice in the New Year than with some strong poses & vinyasa to improve strength, stamina and muscle function.
Come for an afternoon of yoga with me at the wonderful Bristol Yoga Centre, we’ll be working on our physical strength and stamina.
The content of the practice is aimed at all levels (though attending a few regular classes before is advised) & the poses will be adjusted for each student to promote individual challenge and strength-building.
2.5 hours practice (don’t worry, there’s time for relaxation in there) and time for refuelling afterwards (refreshments provided)!
I’m teaching a few extra classes next week – which coincides nicely with my birthday on Wednesday 25th.
To celebrate my birthday week I’m going to be donating my portion of the fees I take during the week to the Terrence Higgins Trust.
I’ll be at Bristol Yoga Space 10.00-11.00 on Monday 23rd, again at BYS 09.45-10.45 Tuesday 24th, and Wednesday 25th in the evening 18.30-19.45 & 20.00-21.15.
Hope to see you on the mat this week!
My Friday evening class at Bristol YogaSpace is starting 15 minutes later! We’ll now be running from 1745-1845; the class is still available on MoveGB.
Hope to see you in class soon!

There will be an extended guided relaxation session, so please bring blankets and extra layers to keep yourself cosy & warm during the moments of stillness. Tea, coffee and some refueling treats will be available afterwards; as will I if there are any questions you want to ask or feedback you want to give after the session.

A new yoga centre in the heart of Bristol is offering free yoga and Pilates classes at their studio from 8th – 13th May 2017. They are running the open week to welcome everybody along and find out what they have on offer. So, if you’ve never tried yoga or Pilates before then this is a prefect opportunity to come and see what all the fuss is about. It can be a great way to clear your head after a stressful day or get some energy back if you are running on empty.
My Thursday morning 10am class is available with this deal! Class is already half full so book soon to avoid missing out.
For full details of participating classes and how to book at www.bristolyogacentre.co.uk/open-week
You are welcome to make an optional donation for the classes to St Mungo’s Homelessness charity in the collection tin at the studio or via their website.
It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to my Friday lunchtime class at Bubalu Health & Fitness. I was teaching there for nearly 3 years and my Fridays won’t be quite the same without it! I enjoyed teaching at Bubalu, and the Gloucester Road won’t be the same without its colourful presence. Head on over to the Bubalu Facebook Page if you want to send Mike and the team a message to thank them for their work over the years.
Thanks to Mike and the team at Bubalu, I wish you well with your future endeavours.
If you’re looking for a Friday yoga fix I teach just up the road at Bishopston YogaSpace 17.30-18.30
Exciting news: starting next week I will be teaching a new class at the Bishopston YogaSpace on Friday evenings 17.30-18.30. (First class is Friday 10th March)
If you’d like to come along the class will be listed on MoveGB and will offer drop-in options, but as usual you can save some cash by booking for a term in advance.
