Just a quick post to say thank you to the workshop group today, it was such a pleasure to teach all of you. Thank you also to the Old Rectory Clinic who provided a perfect venue, and a beautiful backdrop (see picture below) to our practice today. I hope that everyone’s bank holiday weekends are full of great energy, great weather and great company.
I’ll be running another Relaxation Workshop in August, details to closer to the time.
I’m so very lucky to get to do the job I do, working with the people I work with and on beautiful days like this I’m hyper-aware of just how fortunate I am. Thank you for turning up to my classes and sharing your practice with me, I can’t wait to do more!
I am running a Saturday morning Relaxation Workshop on the second May bank holiday with very limited places. The workshop is open to everyone – all levels and abilities are welcome. More details below – email me with further questions: ukrolleryogi@gmail.com
Places are limited so book your place now – £20pp (includes free refreshments afterwards)
This workshop is a chance to practice a selection of poses that aid in relaxing and calming the mind and body. We will also explore the use of several breathing techniques in aiding relaxation. There will be an extended guided relaxation session, so please feel free to bring blankets and extra layers to keep yourself cosy & warm during the moments of stillness. Tea, coffee and cake will be available afterwards; as will I if there are any questions you want to ask or feedback you want to give after the session.
Book your place by emailing me: ukrolleryogi@gmail.com
New terms are starting this week at Bristol YogaSpace and next week at The Old Rectory Clinic. Spaces are available but limited so get in contact with me at ukrolleryogi@gmail.com to check availability.
We’ve spent January and February trying to find more space and length in our spines and adding strength into our poses. In March we’ll be moving on to backbends, using the length and strength we’ve been fostering to open up the front of our chests and the heart centre.
Here are the list of classes I have spaces/drop-ins available for in the coming month:

So far this year we’ve been working on allowing length in the spine and finding space between the vertebrae. As we move towards the end of the month we’ll be introducing more strength in our poses without losing the freedom of movement we’ve created in the back of the body.
