Yoga for Stamina Workshop – Rescheduled 2/4/22

Come for an afternoon of yoga with me at the wonderful Bristol Yoga Centre, we’ll be working on our physical strength and stamina.

Using strong poses and flowing through some vinyasa, the aim is to improve our muscle function, joint stability, and overall strength.

The content of the practice is aimed at all levels (though attending a few regular classes before is advised) & the poses will be adjusted for each student to promote individual challenge and strength-building.

It’s a three hour session, but there will be plenty of breaks throughout, a full relaxation, and time for questions, tea and cake at the end!

Where: Bristol Yoga Centre

When: 1400-1700, Saturday 2nd April, 2022.

Places are limited so book your place now – £30pp – includes refreshments afterwards. Bring a small towel as well as normal yoga clothes. Book in via the Bristol Yoga Centre Website.

I hope you all enjoyed a lovely bank holiday weekend!

There are changes happening as we move into September. I’m on a reduced schedule this week to accommodate some building work happening at home. From next week I’ll be back in the studio with 2 new classes.

From 7/9/21 I’ll be teaching 6-7 at Bristol Yoga Centre (online and in studio)

From 10/9/21 I’ll be teaching 6-7 at Bristol YogaSpace (in studio only)

Flow for April 2021

Here’s April 2021’s Flow in stick figure form. If you want a refresher/prefer me talking at you then there’s a video cut of one round (right leg leading, then left leg leading = one full round!) down below.

Usually we manage three full rounds in about 45 mins. The written options in blue are a bit of extra strength work, the stuff in red are trickier poses/modifications to deepen the practice. If you want to give Flow a go at a live class, details for how to join are on the home page.

Flow for March 2021

Here’s March 2021’s Flow in stick figure form. If didn’t to get to class for this one, I’ve put one round of me teaching it on YouTube (see below).

Usually we manage three full rounds in about 45 mins. The bits in red and on brackets are trickier options, if you’re feeling brave! If you want to give Flow a go, details for how to join the live class are on the home page.

Holiday practice 2020

Thank you all so much for sticking with yoga practice, and with me, through such a challenging time. It has been my absolute pleasure to be your teacher, and learn new ways to do yoga during this pandemic. I’m looking forward to meeting new challenges and keeping practice going into 2021.

Click here for the video that accompanies the practice above – once you know the sequence in the bottom left of the picture, you’ll be able to sail through this practice in 20 minutes.

If you want to be on the mailing list for online classes, and notifications as to when I’ll be back to in-person teaching, click here.

Have a wonderful holiday season, and see you all from January 5th.
